“Bagless” Brunch Recommendation: Blind Tiger

Via: blindtigerchs.com

You’ll want to ditch the luggage to eat at Blind Tiger Pub in downtown Charleston, especially if you dine on their gorgeous brick outdoor courtyard. The infamous restaurant claimed two awards in 2019 including “Charleston’s Choice” for Best Bar and the “Best of Charleston” award for Best Outdoor Patio.

Our Faves from the Menu

We’ll let you in on our picks for the must-try menu items for your brunch at Blind Tiger. The “Four-Cheese Mac Topped with Bacon” is a shareable comfort food that makes for a unique brunch option. If you’re looking for a more classic breakfast choice, the “Four Corners Breakfast” gives you 2 eggs your way with bacon and toast. The meal also includes a choice of their popular savory side items: the “Hash Brown Casserole” or their “White Cheddar Grits”. Our favorite side is the cheesy “Hash Brown Casserole”.

Blind Tiger’s “Duck Hash” and their “Bananas Foster Waffles” are also some exclusive faves. The hash is for the brunch-goer who has tried all of the classics and wants to expand their palate. The “Bananas Foster Waffles” will satisfy your sweet tooth with waffle-style pressed banana bread topped with dark rum sauce and whipped cream. Last but certainly not least for our menu recs, Blind Tiger’s “Mimosa Carafe” is only $10 and can serve 4 people!

You can reserve a table online to eat at Blind Tiger or call ahead. Blind Tiger is dog friendly, so if you have a furry travel companion, feel free to bring them to the patio as well!
